About Us: Special
Features |
-
Music lessons: Piano, voice and guitar lessons are provided for an
extra fee on campus during the school day. Professional teachers come on sight
and use church facilities for lessons. Families love this since it provides
musical experiences for their children eliminating another after school event.
Students participate in a recital at school and in the evening in May to
demonstrate their abilities.
-
Spanish: Spanish is taught
in grades Kindergarten through
5th grade two days a week and in
6th – 8th three days a week. The
curriculum is published by IES
Language Foundation.
-
Extended care: We offer structured care for
Kindergarten through 8th grade students from 7 am – 6
pm daily, Monday through Friday. Afternoon activities include homework time,
inside and outside activities, and snack. Charges are billed monthly on an
hourly basis.
-
Uniforms: Uniforms are required for students in Kindergarten
through 8th grade. Bancroft Uniforms in San Leandro supplies the uniforms, and
PTL offers gently used uniform items as a fund raiser. Uniforms include red,
white or blue shirts, blue pants, shorts or skorts, and red and blue plaid
skirts or jumpers for girls. Uniform color sweaters or school logo sweatshirts
are also permissible.
-
Class size: Generally 20 students per class, from Kindergarten
through 8th grade.
